These quacks impress you by some trick…and show the magic thing about medicine…like they may apply a lotion giving counter irritation or burning or soothing effect over your skin…and you may intend to buy it…
These are unqualified persons may with family background of such practice of giving their own drugs to especially chronic conditions.
Many sit in crowded area…or choose the market day of local village.
One can also find them at pilgrimage area like…mostly near temples of God Shiva.
Some are with old maruti van which is their clinic…on road side.
Some quack’s setup looks like hut…but it may be located in prime area of town or village…
Their practice is by advertisement…as they put big banner mentioning the cure of various medical illnesses with 100 % guaranty.
There presence is not negligible…approximately more than 5/6 per Taluka place…or even more.
Till today I have not heard some authority…taken action against suck quacks…it may be due to reason…that there is no complainer against such quacks.
